Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much are your buildings?

A:  Prices vary from as low as $1895 to over $20,000 for a custom on-site project. We offer a wide range of building options and sizes for each. Additionally, pricing varies by region and state because of regulations, hauling restrictions, and associated material costs. Contact us directly with a specific project in mind or to request a brochure and price guide.

Q: What does it cost to deliver a building to me?

A:  99.9% of the time we offer free delivery to all of our customers. There are unique circumstances where additional costs can be incurred due to permits for hauling over-sized loads or if we are required to come build your building on-site. For most of our buildings in our brochures, delivery is free to all of our customers.

Q:  I would like to add a window to a building in your brochure and change where the door is located. Can I customize the building?

A:  Absolutely!  All of our buildings are completely customizable.  We have a standard placement for doors and windows, but if you would like an additional door, window, roll-up, or shelving, we can easily accommodate.  We can add or take away just about anything you would want, as long as it doesn't compromise the integrity of the building. Additionally, you can customize your own building at www.shedview.shedsales.com.

Q:  Do I need good credit for the Rent-to-Own (RTO) option?

A:  WE DO NOT DO CREDIT CHECKS!  We offer an affordable alternative to buying your portable building by signing a 36-month or a 48-month rent-to-own contract.  A small deposit and your first month's rent is all that is due to get a building delivered to you!

Q:  I ordered a building. When should I expect it to be delivered?

A:  Our buildings are typically delivered within 21 to 24 business days from the date we receive your order.  Weather conditions and the demand of the season may affect delivery.

Q:  Do I need a specific foundation for my building?

A:  The only requirement is a general level location for your building to sit on (we will level the building up to 18").  With our treated skids, our buildings are designed to rest directly on the ground with no adverse effects.  In order to level the building, we use treated wood blocks.  You must supply the materials if you would like to have your building on concrete blocks, pavers, gravel or a concrete foundation.

Q:  What if my new building will not fit through my gate or around my fence?

A:   We now offers custom built on-site options in most locations. If your limited-on space, give us a call or send us an email to info@shedsales.com to request a custom build-on-site quote. (additional fees apply for on-site builds)

Q:  How much space should be allowed to deliver a building?

A:   A vertical space of 14', measured from the ground to the top of the building. Be sure to take any tree branches and utility wires into account. Our delivery personnel are very skilled, but they still need a minimum of 1' of space each side the overall width of the building to maneuver the building through an opening. If you are working with limited space email us at info@shedsales.com to discuss an on-site build option.

Q:   Do I need to have permits for my building?

A:   You are responsible for contacting local agencies in regard to zoning, permits, setbacks, and covenants. Also, it is recommended that you contact your Home Owners Association (if applicable) to determine what neighborhood rules and regulations may be apply. There are no refund of deposits and/or money down after a building has been built.
